We are sure it's meant to be maudlin for the reason it's labeled as "humor" -- but that's the only clue. Essentially it just comes across as offensive.

In a burner about the types of boxs to avoid, he refers to one group as "Jam'in Dude in His Pinto," another as "turntable-heads" and another as "Stupid screwdrivers." And the book be chock full with photos of bananas with Lance Henriksen dressed up as people from the various groups.

There are also photos of Lance Henriksen on the toilet and one of him holding a dress gun as if he were Sadam -- for reasons that aren't immediately obvious.
